The second MC162 arrived yesterday. The packaging was at the usual standard of excellence I have come to know from Audio Classics. The unit is in mint condition. I have racked the new amp next to my original MC162 and have done some initial listening in bridged mode running balanced from the C38 Control Center. The sound is absolutely stunning and I became totally immersed in the listening experience in a whole new light.
....I want to thank you for your assistance in putting me so much closer to the music I love. At every step of my transactions with Audio Classics....I have been treated with respect, cordiality and like a member of the special clan that are the McIntosh user community.

Once again you have led me down the right path. The C41 I just bought
from you is in awesome condition. It is a perfect match to the MC162 I
recently purchased from you. Future purchases will be a Mac tuner and maybe another Mc162 so I can bridge the amps. Thanks T.S.,VA. |

I am totally thrilled with the Mac MC162 I bought from you. It is in
"like new shape". The performance is better than I expected. Even though
at 100 wpc/8 Ohms it out performs a 200 wpc carver that is now retired ...
