Feedback: ... I forgot to thank you for the MCD1000/MDA1000 combination! The fit and finish is typical for the C1000 series and the Audio Classics packaging rivals that of McIntosh. ... I find the MCD1000/MCD1100 combo actually sounds better than the MCD1100 by itself! Maybe there’s something to be said to having a separate transport unit as opposed to a single combined unit. ...The Audio Classics reputation is richly deserved and I look forward to doing further business with you in the future. MCD500 vs MCD1100: After only listening to the first song my friend decided further comparison was pointless, the MCD1100 is better. It’s more detailed, spacious and depth, and smoother, analog sounding. We spent the rest of the time listening to the MCD1100. It’s surprising how easy it is to tell the difference.
