K7 Rear Ported Compact Bookshelf
Is Bigger Always Better?...Can Speakers Be Beautiful?
Snell Series 7 loudspeakers reveal the depth, impact and nuance in every music and movie soundtrack without the obtrusive look and placement conflicts of typical speakers.
Handcrafted in Massachusetts from real wood and solid aluminum, the elegant Series 7 with its soft lines and superb finish plays perfect host to the technology inside. K7
Style and room architecture play a bigger role in home entertainment decisions than ever before. The smallest of the Series 7, the K7, is designed to perform as a full
range monitor and integrate with most decors. Based on high performance drivers from SEAS, and quite a bit of magic from Snell’s chief engineer, Joe D’Appolito Ph.D., the
K7 betters its award winning predecessor, the K.5mk2, in half the physical size. Fine-tuned with an individually calibrated crossover, the shoebox sized K7 plays music and
movies at concert hall levels, with startling dimension and clarity.
With an original list price of $3,000 a pair, Audio Classics has a limited quantity of these speakers, NEW in Box at $1,499 Pair

J7 Rear Ported Bookshelf |
|
J7 Rear Ported Bookshelf
The J7 is the best bookshelf monitor ever developed by Snell, and for its small size, among the best in the industry. At just 16-inches high, the J7 can reproduce
bass as well as most tower speakers, and output at concert hall levels. It can resolve the micro-details of nuance and texture, while eerily reproducing a palpable,
three-dimensional soundstage. Developed by Snell’s chief engineer, Joe D’Appolito Ph.D., the J7 is a sophisticated two-way with a very low resonance, silk dome
tweeter, and a long excursion 6.5-inch woofer. The crossover is constructed with dedicated circuit boards for both tweeter and woofer. This design assures very low
distortion, and optimizes performance when the J7 is bi-amped or bi-wired. The natural cherry cabinet with solid metal end caps is virtually resonance free and hand
made by Snell in Massachusetts. Accommodating real-world room conditions is perhaps the ultimate demand for a loudspeaker. Cosmetic standards like size and finish,
combine with room placement requirements to add further challenges to speaker design. The beautiful, and compact J7 can be a prominent or a discreet part of your room
decor. PLEASE NOTE: These J7 speakers are being sold individually and not as pairs.
With an original list price of $1,250 a each, Audio Classics has a limited quantity of these speakers, NEW in Box at $699 Each

B7 Reference D'Appolito Array, Rear Ported Tower |

B7 Reference D'Appolito Array, Rear Ported Tower
The goal, whether for music or film, is to transport the ingredients of realism, that is, texture, dimension and presence, to every seat in your living room.
For 30 years Snell Acoustics has hand crafted speaker systems to envelop the listener with incredible bandwidth and precise imaging. The new full-range B7
tower extends this Snell tradition of musical realism. Designed by Joe D'Appolito Ph.D., Snell's chief Engineer, the B7 boasts dual 4.5-inch machined magnesium
midrange drivers mounted over and under a 1-inch SEAS silk dome tweeter. This configuration, called a D'Appolito Array, is famous for providing a startling
three-dimensional sound stage. The bass is anchored by two 8-inch aluminum, side-firing woofers, "Force Balanced" by their back-to-back placement. This
arrangement filters unwanted cabinet resonance for more detail and authoritive bass. Designed for the real world of unpredictable room acoustics and
placement considerations, the B7 is flexible to place and beautifully hand finished in natural cherry. The narrow profile real wood
cabinets are veneer matched as pairs. The grilles and solid aluminum top plates are black. Like all Snell loudspeakers, each B7 is hand tuned for natural imaging and sonic depth.
With an original list price of $14,000 a pair, Audio Classics has a limited quantity of these speakers, starting pre-owned at
$6,999 Pair or NEW in Box at $7,999 Pair [more] |

MC501 Power Amp |
|
McIntosh MC501 Power Amp
The MC501 Monoblock Power Amplifier has been designed to meet the expectations of
the most demanding audiophile. Quad-Differential Circuitry, exclusive to McIntosh, reduces noise and distortion to their
lowest possible level. While the MC501 delivers a massive 500 watts continuous power
into 2, 4 or 8-Ohms and over 1200 watts of peak power into low impedances, its noise
levels are 124dB below rated output. This means that the MC501 combines super-high
power with record-low levels of noise…nearly an impossible combination!
The MC501 has a bold look yet is unmistakably a McIntosh. It features a 2-dimensional
glass front panel containing a large peak-responding true-wattmeter, all illuminated with
cool running, ultra long-life LED fiber-optic lighting. The chassis gleams in polished stainless
steel and vertically mounted connectors at the back make attaching cables easier
and takes up less shelf space. Both unbalanced and balanced inputs are provided along
with three sets of huge, gold-plated speaker binding posts for high-performance
speaker cables.
