Feedback: I was playing the Chris Isaak song Blue Spanish Skies on my stereo at about 35 watts continuous on all four amplifiers and it sounded unreal.The bass was incredible and it made my body feel like it was suspended in mid air. The guitars cascaded like a waterfall through the song and the vocals were deep and powerful but still subtle at the same time. The entire time this was going on my body was pulled into the pulse of the song.It was like an out of body experience without the use of drugs or meditation. McIntosh really hit the nail on the head with this equipment. C.M., Canada |

Thanks for the great time at Audio Classics. When I set up the C500 it was evident from the first note that the C500 goes beyond a mere listening environment and totally immerses the
listener in the performance.The guitar solos were so powerful they sent
shivers down my spine.I got Goosebumps all over my body and the pulse
of the music brought out emotions in me that I have only experienced at
live performances.
This paragraph is for the people who listen to their equipment rather
than the music: The image totally filled the room in a true 3 dimensional listening
soundscape.The bass was tight,deep and extremely powerful.There
seemed to be no limit to the midrange punch and the tweeters
extended well into the stratosphere while still reproducing the
subtle nuances of the performance.
The music effortlessly cascaded out of the XRT28's with no fatiguing
qualities what so ever.The C500 is the biggest improvement I have ever

I really dig upgrades to my stereo system that actually make a difference.....and so I really dig this C500 pre-amp! The sound really jumps out of the speakers now (is the only way I can describe it). Glad I called you before I wasted money on that C-200.This pre-amp is way cool.....Thanks again, J.B., GA |
