Feedback: I wanted to follow on the return of my repaired MC2100. I39ve had a chance to blast through a few records and the amp sounds incredible. It39s obvious that the Audio Classics team put in a lot of effort to get this monster back on its feet and working out of both channels. HA From the Misfits to Lee Morgan to Ash Ra Tempel this MC2100 handles them all with ease and expresses sounds in every way a McIntosh should. Thanks again to you and the AC crew for getting my amp back in working order. I really appreciate it V.F. PA |
McIntosh 2100 is up and running and sounding great-can't believe how great looking this thing is for such a vintage amp. Thanks for sending a really nice unit. J.W., MO |
Just want you and the AC team how much I appreciate the work you did on my MC2100. It sounds absolutely fantastic. Deep quiet. Running it and the MC2100 I recently purchased from AC in mono mode. It is totally satisfying. System sounds so good now it's hard to imagine how much better it could sound with amps and other components upgraded. Alison Krauss "Forget About It" on Rounder Vinyl is now one of the best sounding performances I have ever heard. It was one of the first vinyls I played after hooking everything up. Sounded fabulous. ...... The sound stage explodes in both width and depth and gorgeous music literally leaps out of the system through the ML-1C speakers. Same impact when listening to H. V. Karajan's DG recordings of the Beethoven Symphonies. Can't get enough of it. B.J., TX |
By the way I meant to e-mail you regarding the 2100 Amp ..... It really is working fine, sounds great driving the modified B&W's. J.E., NY |
I value my McIntosh equipment beyond words. It is a huge leap of faith for
me to leave my most valued possession in someone elses care. YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! Thanks a million for fixing my baby. J.K., |

Subject: Audio Classics
... I would like to report that, as a
classic hifi enthusiast, I have been
extremely happy to buy a couple of
McIntosh components from
Audioclassics. The prices were
right, the MC2100 was fine and
sounds well, whilst the MA6100
(cheap, and accurately described in
its
condition and all its little defects by
Audioclassics themselves) arrived
with the glass front panel that had
been broken during the trip
from the USA to Italy.
Audioclassics, after a simple request
from me, just sent me a new glass
panel and the instruction manuals
for both McIntosh, free of charge. I
don't want to sound rhetoric, but I
think that this kinf of behaviour
was really fine, and I would
therefore like to thank those correct,
honest dealers, recommending their
firm for classic hifi enthusiasts and
collectors. S.P., Italy |
Subject: Re: audio classics is a class
act
I have bought several pieces from
them MC2100, C504, Phase Linear
700B and 4000S2, TD124, Td125,
LP12 and other stuff in various
conditions and at good prices over
the past 10 years or so. It's definitely
a class operation. Never a hard sell.
Never too busy with to talk to me.
Condition description is always
accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to
recomend them. Not only can you
get the mint++ items but they also
have parts units for sale. Compare
this to outfits that won't even admit
to having anything less than mint
because they don't want to bother
with items they can't turn a several
hundred percent profit off. In fact
this is one of the few outfits that I
can't say anything bad about. J.P. WWW
